Scarecrow is a toeside front roll with a frontside 180. Think frontroll first, then let the revert finish after the flip has started.
Use a progressive toeside approach, stand tall at the wake or kicker, and keep the handle low. Lead with head and shoulders, then pull the handle toward the landing hip to finish the 180.
Do not spin off the takeoff. Flip first, spin on the way down, and land over the board with knees ready.
