Ollie is a jump from flat water without using a wake or kicker. Load the board, pop from the tail, then bring knees up while the board leaves the water.

Keep the handle path quiet, stand tall through the pop, and land flat with knees soft. Do not bend at the waist to chase height.

Progression note: get consistent small ollies before ollie 180s, ollie-ons, gaps, or handle-pass spins.
