Hoochie Glide is a raley-based trick with a method-style grab. It is related to a raley, but the grab changes the timing: bring the board within reach and grab before letting the trick extend.
Use a mellow progressive edge, stand over the board, grab the heelside rail early, then let the board move up and behind you. Release the grab before pulling the handle back to the hips.
Learn the base raley and method grab mechanics first. Chasing the board after full extension usually makes the recovery late.
