Fakie

Fakie means riding or landing in switch stance after a trick. Stay compact and let the board run before adding a hard edge.

Keep the handle low near the lead hip, shoulders parallel to the board, and eyes forward. Avoid twisting your chest open to the cable.

Progression note: build fakie comfort on flat water before using it as a landing for 180s, kickers, or obstacles.
